There are considerations regarding massage during pregnancy, deep tissue is not recommended in the first trimester.

Deep tissue massage while pregnant is extremely helpful in relieving lower back and hip pain, it can ease cramps, reduce inflammation, and aid in healthy circulation of blood and lymph.  Given the many structural changes a pregnant woman's body goes through in a short period of time, deep tissue massage can be essential for comfort and overall health.

THAI  BODYWORK

Thai massage combines elements of Ayeurvedic medicine, Hatha yoga and Chinese acupressure.  It has evolved into a system that is entirely unique and is widely regarded as one of the best systems of therapeutic massage.

The therapist guides your body into yoga-like positions while massaging areas of tension, and stretching muscles and joints.  

Thai is an invigorating and relaxing bodywork treatment, highly effective in increasing flexibility, and range of motion.

Thai sessions use a mat on the floor and require that you wear loose clothing.

THE BEST KNOWN MASSAGE FOR RELAXING THE ENTIRE BODY -

By massaging muscles using long gliding strokes that follow the direction of blood flow returning to the heart.  Beneficial in increasing oxygen in the blood, improving circulation and relieving muscle soreness.  Light to medium pressure is applied.
